ResponsibilitiesWork Schedule:
Monday- Friday, 8.
5 or 9 Hours - between 7am to 6:
30pm, with a 30 minute or 1 hours lunch breakNo Weekends, No Holidays, No Call!Job Specific Details and Tasks:
The duties for the HCW include but are not limited to the following:
Develop coherent treatment strategies.
Incorporate new clinical procedures sufficient to perform clinical services independently.
Conduct patient assessments; provide treatment interventions and consultation to other health care professionals.
Use instrumentation (e.
g.
, videofluoroscopy, nasendoscopy, stroboscopy, computer technology) to observe, collect data, and measure parameters of communication and swallowing, or other upper aero-digestive functions in accordance with the principles of evidence-based practice.
Provide prevention, screening, consultation, assessment and diagnostic, treatment, intervention,management, counseling, and follow-up services for disorders of speech and language, including comprehension and expression in oral, written, graphic, and manual modalities.
Select, administer and interpret commonly used diagnostic tests including vocabulary, articulation and language batteries for adults and children.
QualificationsMinimum
Qualifications:
Education:
Master's degree in speech pathology or communication disorders.
Graduate from a college or university that includes at least 18 semester hours in the field of speech pathology by a regional accreditation organization and a speech pathology academic program accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation of the American Speech-Language Pathology (CAA) of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

Experience:
Minimum one year relevant experiecne within the last 24 months; the EDIS posiiton also requires one year of direct speech/language experience within the last three years with early intervention.
Licensure:
Possess a current unrestricted license to practice as a Speech Pathologist in one of the fifty states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.
S.
Virgin Islands.
Certification:
Maintain current certification of Clinical Competency in speech-language pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
Life Support Certification:
Current AHA or ARC BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
Security:
Must possess ability to pass a Government background check/security clearance.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
